Providing First Responders with Mental Health Support

About the Project

Project All In Foundation and “the coin” was created to help the first responder community start conversations about their mental wellness, help debrief calls and ultimately to aid in suicide prevention.

One of the biggest hurdles in getting help is finding the best way to ask for it. We decided to create the All In Coin as a tactical tool to help make “the ask” easier and act as a reminder that you’re not alone on the pathway to help.

Mission Statement

Project All In recognizes the need for all first responders to have easier access to resources in support of their mental health and well-being.

We know that silence, stigma and suicide are our biggest enemies, understanding that we strongly believe that this program has the power to help our Nations Responders.

Know that you are not alone in this fight. It is OK to ask for help and to bridge the gap to appropriate resources.

How It Works

Taking the first step to ask for help can be hard. Let’s do it together.

Members who have the All In coin can simply slide it forward (or text a photo of the coin) to another co-worker, friend or family member and the conversation is initiated.

The recipient of the coin slide can be an active listener or start the conversation if need be.

It can work alongside pre-existing mental wellness programs such as R2MR or Resilient Responder or be the stand-alone program if need be.
